**** Key Responsibilities**:
* ** Administration:
** Oversee the Storage and Backups Solutions including Updates/Patches, maintain and improve the High-Performance Computing environment
* ** Infrastructure Design & Implementation**:
Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions across virtualized environments, on-premises data centers, and cloud platforms.
* ** System Optimization**:
Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
* ** Cloud Management**:
Oversee cloud migrations, hybrid cloud integrations, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
* ** Security & Compliance**:
Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards.
* ** Automation**:
Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
* ** Disaster Recovery**:
Design and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
* ** Collaboration**:
Partner with software development, Dev Ops, and network teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
* ** Mentorship**:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers.
* ** Capacity Planning**:
Analyze infrastructure usage and forecast future needs.
* ** Documentation**:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
* ** Other Tasks**:
Perform other tasks as assigned by IT Management.
* ** On call Rotation:
** Work and will be available for after-hours support and projects
** Education and Experience**:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
* A minimum of 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure.
* Expertise in server operating systems and infrastructure technologies.
* Proficiency with hypervisor technologies, Hyper-V preferred.
* Expertise with enterprise storage and backup solutions, Pure and Rubrik experience preferred.
* Experience with Data Science and High Performance Computing environments (x86, GPU, Backup, Storage Architecture)#
** Additional Job Information:
**** Skills and Attributes**:
* Exposure to AI tools and infrastructure support for machine learning and data analytics.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
* Ability to multitask and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in automation and system management tools.
* Experience with containerization and cloud platforms.
* Familiarity with network protocols, security, and system monitoring tools.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 USD to $145,000 USD annually.

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
