- Successful candidates must be currently local to Charlotte.
- Compensation: $31 per hour, 40 hours/week.
- Two shifts available:
Friday-Monday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, or Friday-Monday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. - 1-year contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion.
Brooksource is seeking an Intelligence Watch Officer (IWO) to support intelligence operations by monitoring EPS Threat Intelligence collection tools and feeds, triaging and documenting threat information, and producing tactical-level intelligence reports for leadership. The IWO works closely with the Enterprise Security Command Center (ESCC) to maintain a comprehensive and holistic view of the current threat landscape.
Success in this role requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, monitor intelligence feeds from an array of sources, identify threats, and communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize tasks while collaborating with stakeholders and supporting incident response activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Monitor intelligence feeds and EPS Threat Intelligence collection tools from multiple sources
- Triage and document threat information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Produce tactical-level intelligence reports for leadership and stakeholders, communicating threat information effectively
- Assist intelligence analysts with conducting open source research on tactical threats to the company
- Provide necessary intelligence support to the Enterprise Security Command Center (ESCC) during incident response
- Maintain a comprehensive and holistic view of the current threat landscape
- Communicate and collaborate with partners and stakeholders regarding threat information
- Prioritize work tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Homeland Security, Intelligence Studies, or related field, OR
- High school diploma or GED with 4+ years relevant employment experience as a substitute for Associate’s degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to monitor and triage intelligence feeds and document threat information from multiple sources
- Experience producing tactical-level intelligence reports and supporting incident response
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Homeland Security, Intelligence Studies, or related field - Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
