Location: Charlotte, NC (Need Onsite day 1, hybrid 3 days from office)

Our challenge

We are seeking a dedicated Discovery/SACM Architect specialized in Service Now SPM, Cloud Discovery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in researching, developing, and maintaining Discovery patterns within Service Now, focusing on streamlining service management and portfolio activities. This role requires expertise in pattern development, incident resolution, and working with diverse environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.

• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Service Now Service Portfolio Management.
• Develop, update, and optimize Discovery patterns to support Service Now Service Portfolio Management activities.
• Handle incidents related to Discovery workflows, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate Service Now Service Portfolio Management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of discovery patterns, procedures, and solutions.
• Stay updated with best practices and new features related to Service Now Discovery and SPM.
• Implement pattern improvements to enhance data accuracy and discovery efficiency.

• Proven experience in Service Now Discovery Pattern Development, specifically within SPM contexts.
• Strong OS expertise in Windows and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Regular Expressions (Regex) for pattern matching and data extraction.
• Knowledge of Cloud Concepts, including GCP and Azure.
• Active Service Now CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience with Service Now Service Mapping and Service Portfolio Management.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Power Shell, Bash).
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and integrations.
• Prior experience working within an IT service management (ITSM) or ITIL framework.
