Role OverviewThe Manager of Learning & Organizational Development supports employee growth and organizational effectiveness through onboarding, training, and development initiatives. This role manages the learning management system (LMS), curates and delivers learning content, supports leadership development, and contributes to organizational development efforts related to culture, engagement, and performance.
Key Responsibilities Learning & Development- Design, develop, and maintain onboarding and training programs using sound instructional design practices.
- Research, curate, and update learning content to ensure relevance and alignment with business needs.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leaders to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted training.
- Maintain training documentation, user guides, and knowledge resources to support self-service learning.
- Manage LMS functionality, including content, user access, reporting, and integrations.
- Support system updates, testing, and ongoing maintenance to ensure a reliable user experience.
- Facilitate LMS training and provide user support in coordination with IT.
- Develop onboarding learning plans and reporting to measure training utilization and effectiveness.
- Support culture and engagement surveys, including analysis and action planning.
- Coordinate and support leadership development programs.
- Conduct needs assessments, role reviews, and competency evaluations up to the manager level.
- Administer development assessments (e.g., DiSC) and provide results to leadership.
- Support the tracking and reporting of metrics used to assess organizational performance.
- 5+ years of experience in learning, organizational development, HR, or corporate training.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience managing an LMS (Workday preferred) and using learning content and survey platforms.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Construction or related industry experience preferred.
