GQR is expanding its HR & Total Rewards recruitment practice
, and we are seeking a high-performing Senior Associate, Business Development to help drive client growth and market expansion.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys building long-term relationships, and wants to develop deep expertise within the HR, Total Rewards, and Workday ecosystem.
You will play a key role in growing strategic partnerships with CHROs, VPs of Total Rewards, HRIS leaders, and executive stakeholders across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new and existing client relationships with HR, Total Rewards, and HRIS/Workday leader
- Proactively identify, pursue, and help close new client opportunities
- Support discovery calls and needs assessments to understand client talent challenges
- Position GQR’s recruitment and consulting solutions as long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with delivery and recruiting teams to ensure successful placements with our clients
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting through ATS (Bullhorn) and BD tools (Zoom Info, Source Whale, etc.)
- Represent GQR at industry events, networking functions, and community initiatives
- Stay current on market trends and workforce strategies
- Establish a consistent book of active client accounts
- Generate and convert qualified opportunities in target markets
- Become a trusted advisor to HR and Total Rewards leaders
- Contribute meaningfully to practice growth and revenue targets
- Build a strong personal brand within the HR/Total Rewards/HRIS community
- 3–5 years of experience in agency recruitment, staffing, consulting, HR tech, or B2B sales
- Proven track record of business development and account growth
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
- Proficiency with Linked In Recruiter, Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, and CRM systems
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter mentality
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
- Coachable, adaptable, and growth-oriented
- Competitive, resilient, and results-driven
- Passion for building long-term client partnerships
- Experience engaging with senior-level HR, Benefits, Compensation, or HRIS leaders
