Talent Manager
Oliver James is looking to grow our Talent Development team into our Charlotte, NC office with an exciting role as a Talent Development Partner.
Role:Talent Development (Recruitment Training)

This position is for a Talent Development Partner working as part of a global TD&TP team. You will be responsible for the analysis and delivery of learning and development initiatives, partnering regularly with senior stakeholders. This role acts as an integral facilitator of business growth; ensuring constant development of new and existing employees from entry level through to management.
- Responsibility for the learning and development experience of Oliver James employees in order to aid individual’s progression
- 1 to 1 mentoring and coaching delivered to employees in order to ensure continued advancement and maximum profitability
- Responsibility for analysis, preparation and delivery of Oliver James core education programs
- Proactively identifying and advising senior stakeholders on opportunities to maximize revenue and increase profitability across sales operations
- Design and delivery of complex roleplay scenarios to ensure Oliver James Associates best practice is adhered to
- Organization and management of dedicated sales days/half days
- Facilitation of round tables and interactive workshops with consultants and managers at a range of experience levels
- Accurate logging of employee development, providing regular advice and substantial feedback to support talent pipelining and promotion decisions
- Constant interaction with the rest of the senior team, providing critical advice on office environment, sales performance, and new opportunities for growth
- Monitoring of employee engagement levels and development pathways to ensure maximum retention of staff
- Recruitment experience with expert level knowledge of recruitment practices and associated skills
- A track record of high achievement in previous roles
- Team leadership or mentoring experience gained within a recruitment environment desirable
- Engaging, positive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient organizational, planning and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport & long term business relationships
- Experience of influencing and communicating with senior stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a high level of diplomacy and professionalism
- The ability to be a team player and capable of operating autonomously
- A confident and proactive approach
- An innate desire to be successful and commit to the role requirements

- An individual with a strong foundation of 4+ years as a full desk/360 agency recruiter who is passionate about recruitment and looking to impart their skills in a way different to the traditional individual contributor or management path.
