What You Will Do- This role ensures that health, welfare, and financial wellness benefits operate smoothly for a 6,000+ employee population, impacting the daily lives of every team member.
- The organization relies on this leader to maintain strict compliance with FMLA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other key regulatory requirements.
- This position drives communication and understanding of benefit programs, enabling employees and leaders to make informed decisions.
- Open Enrollment is one of the most critical annual initiatives, and this manager is responsible for timelines, execution, and enhancements.
- Benefits represent one of the company’s largest investments, and this leader directly supports financial stewardship through plan performance reporting.
- This role is integral in onboarding new hires, supporting wellness initiatives, and keeping internal systems accurate and aligned with vendor data.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field, with 5+ years of HR experience and at least 2 years focused on benefits administration.
- Experienced in managing benefit programs across medical, dental, vision, 401(k), wellness, leave programs, and workers’ compensation.
- Hands‑on experience with HRIS systems, benefits integrations, and accurate data management.
- Strong understanding of FMLA, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks governing employee benefits.
- Skilled in project management, especially in overseeing Open Enrollment and large‑scale communication efforts.
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally, work with vendors, and communicate benefit information clearly.
- Preferred: PHR or SHRM‑CP certification and experience supporting a multi‑location or highly regulated environment.
