The People Department at ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join the team. This individual will support the Corporate People Department in the implementation and management of company policies, procedures, and systems to create a flexible environment for all team members across ABX. The HR Generalist will be instrumental in the day-to-day support and administration of various HR functional areas including but not limited to recruitment, staffing, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, organizational development, salary administration, and benefits.
This role will interface with employees at all levels of the organization to resolve issues, support change management, and help build the ABX culture, where the future is flexible!
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business preferred with minimum of three to five (3-5) years Human Resources experience
- HR experience in a manufacturing setting is desired
- Current SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification (or in progress) preferred
- Knowledge of Federal, State of North Carolina and local laws
- Exemplary interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated consulting and influencing skills
- Strong team orientation
- Experienced conflict resolution, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
- Familiarity with HR technology platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, ADP Workforce Manager
- Serve as the business partner for the Corporate office
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for Corporate roles, including requisition intake, job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding execution
- Act as a go-to resource in the Corporate People Department for employee questions or issues related to company policies, programs, and procedures
- Build strong relationships with the site-based HR and Operational leadership to support ongoing change management
- Support key People Department processes at the Corporate office including talent acquisition, onboarding, total rewards administration, talent management, performance management, recognition and rewards, and training initiatives through process improvement, data management and communication
- Recommend process improvements that would drive efficiencies and scalability across the People function that can be leveraged across all locations
- Participate in annual benchmarking cycles to analyze and assess market data, industry trends and best practices to create market competitive reward packages
- Perform audits of employee information, as needed, across various HCM platforms that the company utilizes to ensure consistency and accuracy of information is maintained
- Partner with the Director of HRIS on HR system implementations and upgrade activities
- Establish and maintain open and effective communication with employees
- Assist with corporate project responsibilities, as assigned
