This position is paid on an hourly basis.
LocationThe Grand Bohemian Charlotte, Autograph Collection is an AAA Four Diamond boutique hotel located in Uptown Charlotte. It is centrally located with access to nearby landmarks including Truist Field, Romare Bearden Park, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and is within walking distance of the Charlotte Convention Center and the city’s business district. Guest rooms are designed with Argentinian‑inspired elements and include modern amenities.
Dining options feature Mico Restaurant and the rooftop bar Búho Bar, with views of the Uptown skyline. Additional facilities include an art gallery and spaces for socializing or relaxation. The hotel has flexible event venues that can accommodate meetings, weddings, and social functions.
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
- Complete all pre‑cleaning duties, including setting up guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
- Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
- Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
- Replenish chemical bottles.
- Report all missing items from rooms (e.g., irons, baby‑cots, hair dryers) to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests, in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner.
