The Data Integration Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining healthcare data integration solutions across clinical systems.
This role requires hands‑on expertise with HL7 V2.x interfaces, experience working in healthcare provider environments, and knowledge of Epic Bridges for integration workflows.
The architect will support interoperability initiatives, implement data exchange standards, and contribute to building scalable, secure, and compliant integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and architect healthcare data integration solutions using HL7 V2.x standards.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot interface workflows within healthcare provider environments.
- Utilize Epic Bridges to build, configure, and support clinical interfaces.
- Collaborate with clinical, technical, and interoperability teams to support data exchange initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data security and interoperability standards.
- Support integration development using platforms such as Inter Systems Health Connect (if applicable).
- Implement or contribute to FHIR‑based integration solutions when required.
- Document integration designs, mapping specifications, and technical workflows.
- Provide guidance and best practices for healthcare interfaces and data exchange patterns.
- Strong experience working with HL7 V2.x messaging and integration patterns.
- Experience with in a healthcare provider environment supporting clinical data flows.
- Epic Bridges certification and hands‑on experience building and maintaining Bridges interfaces.
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and data exchange workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve interface and data mapping issues.
- Experience collaborating with clinical and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Inter Systems Health Connect.
- Knowledge of FHIR standards and implementation practices.
