Position Insight

We are on the hunt for an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our dedicated team of imaging specialists committed to unparalleled patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic evaluations, collaborate with a supportive network of healthcare professionals, and provide assurance to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, articulating each step with empathy and clarity
  • Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
  • Ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
  • Accurately document examinations and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
  • Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Educational Background
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Required Certifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
Essential Skills
  • Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced setting with a patient-focused approach
