Position Type: Full-time
Work Schedule Details: M-F 10:30am-7pm
ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will serve as the initial point of contact with patients, referring physicians, and the general public on the imaging center’s behalf. This includes welcoming all patients and their family members, making patients and visitors feel comfortable, and anticipating and attending to the needs of our patients. Duties also include checking patients in, answering the telephone, routing calls, scheduling appointments, collecting balances at time of service, and other front office/desk duties as necessary.
QualificationsEducation:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior Experience:
- 0 - 2+ years of experience in a customer support role or hospitality
Special Qualifications:
- Strong customer service background and focus
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge and ability to operate computer systems
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience in a physician practice or medical services office
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting
- Medical records experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
