Join Our Dynamic Urgent Care Team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

In this pivotal role, you'll be the primary provider responsible for delivering urgent, acute, and family medicine services to adult and pediatric patients. Utilize your clinical expertise to perform minor procedures, manage a diverse patient caseload, and work independently with full support from an offsite supervising physician. Your soft skills will be essential in fostering positive patient interactions and collaborating effectively with onsite staff.

Leveraging your proficiency in the Epic EMR system, you'll ensure accurate documentation and streamlined patient care.

Key Skills and

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings

Board certification: NCCPA for Physician Assistants or appropriate NP certification for Nurse Practitioners

Valid BLS certification

Ability to independently see and treat all assigned patients

Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Epic, is required

Strong soft skills for effective patient and team communication

Capable of performing minor procedures, such as I&D and lac repairs

Nice to Have

Skills:

Previous experience working in high-volume urgent care centers

Familiarity with pediatric care for patients 6 months and older

Additional certifications such as DOT or advanced procedures

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programs

At least one year of post-licensure clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings

Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, supported by an offsite supervising physician

Other Requirements:

Willingness to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius surrounding your residence

Ability to commit to scheduled shifts starting from 12/31/2025

Flexibility to attend EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift

No travel reimbursement available; mileage reimbursement provided
