Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend night shift position, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 2 years of experience.

• Position is in a hospital setting with 373 licensed beds and no trauma designation
• Work in the CT department utilizing three Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
• Shifts are 12-hour nights, Friday through Sunday, 9:00 PM to 9:30 AM
• On-call is required for 2-3 shifts per month
• No floating required
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient
• Conducts CT-guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed
• Stroke imaging, perfusion, colorectal studies, multi-phase, and venous/arterial phase scanning performed
• Epic EMR and Epic Radiant RIS, with Philips iSite PACS system
• Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule from permanent address
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must be willing to work at least 75% of holidays
• Scrub color is black
• Free parking in surface lots and decks is available
• Department provides guest services/transport support for inpatients and observation patients
• Orientation includes one day of administrative onboarding and up to one week of departmental training, potentially on weekdays
• Manager will conduct a final interview

• Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience required
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required
• BLS required
• Must be able to start peripheral IVs
• Experience with venous and arterial phase, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging, and colorectal studies required
• Knowledge of Tera Recon is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
