Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend night shift position, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital setting with 373 licensed beds and no trauma designation
- Work in the CT department utilizing three Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
- Shifts are 12-hour nights, Friday through Sunday, 9:00 PM to 9:30 AM
- On-call is required for 2-3 shifts per month
- No floating required
- Patient population includes ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient
- Conducts CT-guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed
- Stroke imaging, perfusion, colorectal studies, multi-phase, and venous/arterial phase scanning performed
- Epic EMR and Epic Radiant RIS, with Philips iSite PACS system
- Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule from permanent address
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Candidates must be willing to work at least 75% of holidays
- Scrub color is black
- Free parking in surface lots and decks is available
- Department provides guest services/transport support for inpatients and observation patients
- Orientation includes one day of administrative onboarding and up to one week of departmental training, potentially on weekdays
- Manager will conduct a final interview
- Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience required
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required
- BLS required
- Must be able to start peripheral IVs
- Experience with venous and arterial phase, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging, and colorectal studies required
- Knowledge of Tera Recon is preferred, but not required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- License required if applicable
