Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT certification in CT and at least 2 years of experience for a weekend rotating position.

• Work in a hospital radiology department with 3 Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases
• Performs high-acuity CT procedures including stroke perfusion, multi-phase, and cardiac imaging
• Weekend shift:
  Friday 11:00am-11:30pm, Saturday/Sunday 12:00pm-12:30am
• 2-3 on-call shifts per month required
• No floating required
• EMR is Epic, RIS is Epic Radiant, and PACS is Philips iSite
• Duties include conducting a high volume of CT scans and supporting invasive and cardiac procedures
• Department handles approximately 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies per weekend day
• Team includes radiology nursing and guest services/transport support
• Stroke-accredited environment with no trauma designation
• Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding and up to 1 week of department orientation
• Scrub color is black
• Free parking available in surface lot and parking decks
• 75% holiday coverage expected
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers accepted

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be able to start peripheral IVs and perform venous/arterial phase, multi-phase, stroke perfusion, and colorectal studies
• Familiarity with Tera Recon preferred but not required
• Experience performing guided invasive CT procedures and cases with anesthesia support
• License required if applicable
