Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a dual-modality CT/Rad Technologist with at least 2 years of recent radiology and CT experience for a night shift role.

• Work in a free-standing emergency department with 18 beds (24 including RME), providing 24/7 X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services
• Average of 108 emergency department visits per day and 100 total radiology and CT studies per day
• Serve emergency department and outpatient populations
• 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• On-call required for 3 to 4 shifts per month
• Weekend rotation based on department needs
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• No floating required
• Department uses Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
• Equipment includes Siemens XCite CT scanner, Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors, Shimadzu Rad Speed X-ray, and GE AMX portable X-ray
• Responsibilities include performing general X-rays, CT scans, and portable studies for both emergency and outpatient settings
• Department leadership is available for support
• Administrative onboarding is one day with additional departmental orientation as needed
• Black scrubs are required
• Surface lot parking is available at no cost
• First-time travelers are accepted

• Minimum of 2 years of dual Radiology/CT technologist experience
• BLS, ARRT-R for Rad Tech roles, BLS and ARRT-CT for CT Tech roles, BLS and ARRT-R-CT for dual roles
• Ability to perform general X-rays, CT scans, and portable imaging
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• License required if applicable
