Interventional Radiology Technologist

Pride Health is hiring for a Interventional Radiology Technologist to support our client’s medical facility based in Charlotte, NC 28203
. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists physicians in performing invasive angiographic and interventional procedures within the Interventional Radiology (IR) Suite. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring patients, and maintaining a safe and efficient procedural environment.

• Perform specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging for interventional and angiographic procedures under physician direction
• Prepare and educate patients regarding procedures and ensure appropriate positioning and safety
• Scrub and circulate during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and procedural efficiency
• Obtain and prepare contrast materials, medications, and supplies as directed
• Assist with catheter and sheath removal and apply pressure or clamps as appropriate
• Monitor patients during procedures and communicate patient status to the care team
• Accurately document hemodynamic data, contrast usage, charges, and procedure details
• Enter patient data and inventory into the WITT system and send imaging for physician review
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to leadership or engineering
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies
• Participate in on-call coverage (back-up call only)

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or accredited Interventional Radiology Program
• ARRT (R) certification – Required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) – Required
• Minimum 1 year diagnostic radiology experience
• Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Ability to work in high-acuity environments, including stroke and trauma cases
• Must reside within a 30-minute response time for call requirements

  Tech I: $30 – $50/hour/ Tech III: $35 – $55/hour

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
