5:30am–2:30pm, Full-Time, Day Shift

Our Cardiopulmonary Progressive Care Unit (CPPU) provides specialized care for patients with complex cardiac and pulmonary conditions who require close monitoring and advanced respiratory support. This is a dynamic, fast-paced setting ideal for nurses who are eager to strengthen their critical thinking and clinical assessment skills while working with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
You’llgain hands-on experience with:
• Managing high-flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP, and tracheostomy care
• Caring for patients with heart failure, COPD exacerbations, sepsis, and post-surgical respiratory needs
• Administering and monitoring IV therapies, including insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips
• Collaborating closely with respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and critical care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Responding quickly to changes in patient condition in a progressive care setting
• Specialized focus on both cardiac and pulmonary progressive care patients
• Highly skilled, team-oriented environment where nurses support one another and share knowledge

What We're Looking For:- Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience:
One year relevant experience, preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
- ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred. xrlwcon
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
