Residential Part-Time IDD Care Who Are We:
InReach provides a wide variety of supports and services across the lifespan for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. We focus on each individual’s unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.
Whatwe need:
Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.
What You’ll Do:- Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
- Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
- Provide community recreational activities when available.
- Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.
- Documentation of activities.
- Help residents develop healthy social habits.
- Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
- Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
- Strong verbal skills
- Willingness to help others
- At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.
- A valid Driver's license
- A High School Diploma
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: up to 29 hours per week
Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3pm-9pm;
Friday 1:30pm-6:30pm Friday hours are flexible
