As a Substance Abuse Counselor you’ll engage with patients through individual, group, and/or family counseling and work with a collaborative treatment team to identify and meet the clinical needs of patients and assist in their overall well‑being.

New Season Treatment Centers has been a national leader in outpatient treatment for over 30 years, specializing in care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharge, and transfer paperwork for patients.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Create psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
• Identify and address clinical and case management needs.
• Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Provide at least 20 hours of direct one‑on‑one patient contact per week through counseling sessions.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient photo identification.
• Act in the best interests of the program and protect proprietary data and company rights.

Education/Licensure/Certification: LCAS‑A or full LCAS (refer to state‑specific requirements below).
