Residential Weekend IDD Care - Overnights; PT

Overview

We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver high-quality services by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring, qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.

Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities when available.
• Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.
• Documentation of activities.
• Help residents develop healthy social habits.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.

• Willingness to help others
• At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.
• A valid Driver s license
• A High School Diploma

• Job Type: Part-time
• Hours:
  
  30+ hours over the weekend (Fri-Sun)
• Rate: $16.00 per hour (Earn over $500 per weekend)
• Schedule:
  
  Friday 6pm - Sunday 6:30pm (every other weekend; overnight sleep stay Friday & Saturday is required)
• This position does not include pay for time spent sleeping during a shift.
