Job Summary

We are seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder under the supervision of a BCBA. You will run skill acquisition programs, record session data, and collaborate with caregivers to foster meaningful progress across home, school, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings, implementing BCBA-designed plans.
  • Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs with effective reinforcement.
  • Collect, graph, and document behavior data for BCBA review.
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families.
  • Maintain program materials and ensure HIPAA compliance when documenting.
  • Provide crisis intervention, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Participate in supervision, training, and collaborate with families and teams.
  • Exhibit professionalism, including punctuality, ethics, and certification maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
  • At least 6 months of previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Reliable transportation to client sites (for providing in-home services).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, sit on the floor, and engage in physical play as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; bilingual (Spanish or ASL) a plus.
  • Must pass a background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
