Shift: Full-time | 6:00am - 6:30p | Monday - Thursday | 3x12 hour nights (occasional weekends & holidays)

What We’re Looking For- Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science, or medical laboratory technology, or equivalent education and training.
- MLT certification (or eligible) from ASCP or AMT required.
- One year of laboratory experience preferred (clinical internships of twelve months meet this requirement).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately perform and interpret lab tests.

- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including quality control, specimen collection, processing, and analysis.
- Assist in evaluating new or modified techniques and train other personnel on equipment and software as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
- Education: 2‑year Associate Degree or equivalent, or completion of military training of 50 or more weeks.
- Experience: One year experience as a laboratory technician (clinical internships of twelve months duration acceptable).
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: MLT certification (or eligible) from ASCP or AMT required.
- Additional
Skills Required:
New graduates must obtain certification within 12 months of hire; failure to do so results in termination. All newly certified ASCPs (since Jan 1 2004) must maintain certification through the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP). All newly certified AMTs (since Jan 1 2006) must participate in the AMT Certification Continuation Program (CCP). Knowledge of current medical terminology, laboratory equipment, quality control checks, troubleshooting instrumentation, effective communication with medical staff, proficient performance of a full range of laboratory tests, calm emergency response, quality assurance development, and establishment of effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, hospital staff, and the public.
