While you support clients one-on-one with activities of daily living, we’ll support you with training, flexibility, and a team dedicated to creating a great employee experience. We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in Mecklenburg, Union, and Anson counties in BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division.

What you’ll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Develop close relationships with clients while helping with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal preparation and feeding, and other related care activities.
• Assist with activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, range of motion/exercises, ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices), medication reminders, and vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).

• Have at least one year of work experience.
• Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
