What we need:Friendly and caring people who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.
This position requires proficient American Sign Language (ASL) experience.
What You'll Do:- Training and assisting with preparing the evening meal.
- Assisting with evening chores.
- Provide community recreational activities when available.
- Assisting people with evening personal care/hygiene.
- Documentation of activities.
- Dispensing medication and monitoring dosages.
- Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
- Willingness to help others
- At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable.
- A valid Driver's license
- A High School Diploma
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 20-25 hours per week
Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm-9pm
Location: Charlotte, NC 28215
