Weekend Days. Shift Details:
Sat/Sun, 11a-11:30p. This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Based on eligibility.

Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

• Escorts patients, guests, and visitors to points of destination using ambulatory, beds, cribs, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
• Possesses knowledge and appropriate use of hospital paging system.
• Uses hospital telephone system for transport tracking, accepting transport orders, and completing jobs.
• Assists nursing and clinical staff with transferring patients from bed to transport equipment.
• Transports and provides room orientation for admissions.
• Provides directional information to guests, visitors, and patient location to family members and guests.
• Verifies outpatient registration and transports patients to appropriate departments or clinics.
• Retrieves, cleans, and stores all unused patient transport equipment.

Requires strenuous physical effort assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and monitors supplies. Excellent communication skills required. May need to stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel during procedures. Uses hands for manipulation of radiographic equipment. Vision and hearing for distances up to 10 feet are necessary.

Successful completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and BLS HCP from AHA. New graduates must be registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire.
