Saturday - Sunday 7:00p-7:30a. Call and Holiday rotation required. This position is sign on bonus eligible. Based on eligibility.

Pay Range: $28.05 - $42.10

Performs with minimal supervision radiographic examinations under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

• Education
  :
  Graduate of an institution accredited by ARRT-recognized agency in Radiologic Technology.
• Certification / License
  :
  Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. CPR certification required.

  Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development; demonstrates skills appropriate to age, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and monitors supplies. Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff. May frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat or kneel in operating radiographic equipment. Will be required to use hands for power gripping, speed work and precision. Vision and hearing for distances up to 10 feet is necessary.
