Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will work closely with senior leadership reviewing financial statements, assisting with technical accounting matters, analyzing P&L results, and helping translate financial data into insights that leadership uses to make decisions. This is a high‑visibility role where the individual will interact with leadership, contribute to process improvements, and help strengthen the overall accounting function.

• Review monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules prior to leadership review
• Perform P&L variance analysis and identify trends or issues early in the close process
• Assist with financial reporting packages and supporting documentation
• Support the annual financial statement audit process
• Improve close timelines through stronger preparation and issue resolution
• Review and enhance financial analyses used by operational and executive leadership
• Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights for decision makers
• Support ad hoc analysis and special requests from leadership
• Mentor and support staff accountants and accounting team members
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows
• Support reporting automation and system improvements using ERP‑connected reporting tools
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and strategic finance projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Approximately 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with month‑end close, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into business insights
