Job DescriptionResponsible for the overall performance of a defined market, including the achievement of expected levels of client service quality, balance sheet quality, profitability and growth, and risk management. The role should drive a consistent client experience that positions Truist as the Premier Advisory Bank in the Commercial segment (defined as $5-75MM in annual sales) in the local market. It integrates all banking functions in the local market, including retail teams and line of business (LOB) partners, such as Commercial Credit and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners, and directly manages a team of five or more Commercial Bankers.
Note:
Differentiation in levels of Market Presidents depends primarily upon total loans and deposits, marketplace potential, individual and team performance, and other factors recognized by Commercial Community Bank leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Twelve years of banking experience.
- Ability to directly manage a team of at least one Market President Producer and a team of five or more Relationship Managers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; must speak fluent English.
- Strong understanding of commercial credit, including underwriting, loan structuring, and pricing to effectively advocate for clients.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide leadership and handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
