Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, implement and maintain internal controls, and support leadership with financial insights. This role requires strong hands‑on accounting experience, exceptional organizational skills, and proven expertise working with Net Suite ERP
.

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, GL maintenance, journal entries, and month‑end close.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls, processes, and accounting policies.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial compliance.
• Lead year‑end audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide financial insights to leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
• Support project‑based accounting needs relevant to consulting engagements.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff as the department grows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  , with at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with Net Suite ERP (required).
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• CPA or CMA certification (preferred but not required).
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or similar industry.
• Experience improving financial systems, workflows, and automation.
