Overview
Virtual Financial Consultant Multi-lingual provides virtual counseling in multiple languages for all participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries and their legal and financial representatives on the complete spectrum of TIAA products and services. This role covers institutions aligned to regional structures and offers financial planning advice via in person, phone and video chat to help clients accomplish their immediate and long-term financial goals.
During the initial period of employment, you will receive training on TIAA's products. The role is non-exempt and paid hourly with overtime eligibility during training. After the training period, the role becomes exempt and paid salaried at the same rate (weekly salary equals hourly rate multiplied by 40) with overtime eligibility ending. All licenses must be obtained within 120 days from start date.
Responsibilities- Counsels participants in multiple languages on pension plans, tax-deferred annuities and other available investment options to help clients retain and grow assets.
- Educates, recommends and facilitates new product purchases (including retail mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529 and 403b, bank products, life insurance and others) and provides authoritative information for personal financial planning decisions.
- Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional customer service and execute transactions and service requests.
- Utilizes knowledge of tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice based on clients` financial needs and objectives.
- Communicates internally with cross-business partnerships to develop and implement TIAA products and services to support clients and company initiatives.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors.

Anticipated Posting End DateBase Pay Range: $75,400/yr - $92,300/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the compensation package may include participation in incentive programs depending on role and performance.
