Valuation Associate

We’re recruiting for a Valuation Specialist to join the Valuations team at a top investment management firm. The role is based in Charlotte, and the team is responsible for valuation, reporting, and internal control oversight across a broad mix of investments.

In this position, you’ll get hands-on exposure to complex, hard-to-value assets, including private bank loans, real estate-backed credit, and private equity. You’ll work closely with investment teams, third-party valuation firms, and auditors, helping to coordinate valuation reviews and prepare materials that ultimately go to the firm’s valuation committee.

You’ll also be involved in valuation reporting used by senior management and the board, along with supporting various ad hoc projects as they come up.

They’re looking for someone with roughly 3–5 years of experience, ideally from a public accounting firm’s financial services group, or from an asset management or valuation firm. CPA or CFA credentials are a plus, but not required.
