Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in a finance or commercial analyst role, ideally within a global or matrixed organization.
- Must have manufacturing experience.
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with SAP, One Stream, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights for both finance and non‑finance partners.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive analysis with minimal oversight.
The Commercial Financial Analyst serves as a key business partner to the Commercial and Finance teams, providing advanced financial insights, performance analytics, and decision support. This position combines strong analytical execution with growing strategic influence. The Analyst supports P&L transparency, leads financial modeling, drives process improvements, and deepens commercial profitability understanding to guide business decisions and enhance financial performance.
- Performance Analysis:
Provide financial analysis and insight into P&L performance, pricing, product margins, and customer trends. - Financial Planning:
Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning. - Financial Controlling:
Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers of performance against targets. - Business Partnering:
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key commercial KPIs. - Business Partnering:
Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations by providing clear financial insights and evaluating commercial initiatives. Participate in pricing reviews, customer profitability assessments, and margin optimization initiatives. - Month-End Close:
Ensure accuracy of financial results through improved processes, reconciliations, and analytical reviews. - Ad-hoc activities:
Support various ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis requests, including deep dives into sales performance, margin analysis, customer profitability, and scenario modeling to inform business decisions.
