We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with 3–5 years of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with a strong command of US GAAP and proven ability to thrive in complex, fast‑paced environments. Experience in the asset management industry is a plus.
This role requires someone who can confidently perform general accounting functions, contribute to process development and improvements, and support the development of governance and controls. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of executing new ideas with minimal supervision. We operate a hybrid working model: you will be required to work in-office 4 days a week.
Responsibilities- Perform general ledger accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting processes and internal controls.
- Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Experience with Oracle ERP or similar financial systems is a plus.
- Experience in the asset management industry.
- Public accounting experience.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and data visualization platforms.
- Experience with investments and/or revenue accounting.
- Experience designing or enhancing accounting processes and governance controls.
Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon relevant experience, time in role, internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include a participation in an incentive program linked to performance (e.g., annual discretionary bonus programs, or other incentive or sales plans).
