Reinsurance Senior Accountant
A leading insurance and financial services organization is hiring a Reinsurance Senior Accountant to support its corporate Reinsurance Accounting & Reporting team. This role plays a key part in reinsurance accounting, reporting, and controls, with regular collaboration across the business. Hybrid schedule with in-office presence in Charlotte.
What You’ll Do- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance close
- Prepare and analyze journal entries and reporting under GAAP and Statutory
- Deliver variance analysis and financial insights to leadership
- Own end-to-end reinsurance accounting processes and calculations
- Support regulatory reporting, settlements, and audits
- Maintain controls documentation and drive process improvements
- 3+ years of insurance/reinsurance accounting experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Clear communicator who can manage deadlines and take ownership
- CPA or in progress preferred
- Experience with systems like Oracle, People Soft, Workiva, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL/Snowflake
