Reinsurance Senior Accountant

A leading insurance and financial services organization is hiring a Reinsurance Senior Accountant to support its corporate Reinsurance Accounting & Reporting team. This role plays a key part in reinsurance accounting, reporting, and controls, with regular collaboration across the business. Hybrid schedule with in-office presence in Charlotte.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance close
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and reporting under GAAP and Statutory
• Deliver variance analysis and financial insights to leadership
• Own end-to-end reinsurance accounting processes and calculations
• Support regulatory reporting, settlements, and audits
• Maintain controls documentation and drive process improvements

• 3+ years of insurance/reinsurance accounting experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Clear communicator who can manage deadlines and take ownership
• CPA or in progress preferred

• Experience with systems like Oracle, People Soft, Workiva, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL/Snowflake
