Overview

Our client, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking an experienced Transactional Lawyer for its Financial Services practice.

Preferred candidates would have at least 5 years of transactional experience and must have a working knowledge of syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions.

Excellent academic performance and strong interpersonal skills are required. Must be barred in North or South Carolina.

• There are 5 finance groups: the securitization team, the renewable energy project finance team, the syndicated loans team, the public bond team, and the real estate finance team.

• 5+ years of experience in finance transactional law
• Working knowledge of syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions
• Excellent academic performance
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Barred in North or South Carolina

• Salary: $205K - $300K
• Hybrid work policy: 3 days in-office

This Sr. Associate role focuses on syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance within their robust Financial Services practice. You'll work across 5 specialized finance groups including securitization, renewable energy project finance, and syndicated loans.

You'll join their finance powerhouse that consistently ranks in the top 25 for leverage finance deals and closed 185 syndicated loan transactions in 2022. The firm just hired C-suite executives including a Chief Business Development Officer to support attorney growth and business development.
