Financial Risk Management (FRM)The Financial Risk Management team within Truist Securities is a product‑oriented team that focuses on foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity derivatives. The team sits on the private side of the trading floor, interacts daily with bankers, traders and capital raising partners, and provides hedging solutions to clients. The client set covered spans the full spectrum, from middle market and small‑cap clients to large‑cap publicly traded clients.
Financial Risk Management (FRM) Summer Analyst Job DescriptionThe FRM Summer Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within commercial, corporate and investment banking as well as capital markets. FRM Summer Analysts will develop an understanding of markets and clients, gain experience in finance and capital markets solutions through on‑the‑job training and play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients. FRM Summer Analysts assist senior marketers by creating presentation materials, pricing hedge transactions and providing commentary on current market conditions.
LocationTruist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta and has offices throughout the U.S., including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. This role is specifically for our Charlotte office.
Minimum Requirements- graduation with a BA/BS degree December 2027 or June 2028
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Business major
- Overall GPA of 3.0
- Prior completion of accounting or finance coursework
- High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
- Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
