Overview

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing manufacturing organization to locate their next Financial Analyst.

Location:

Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – in office 4 days per week)

Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 base + 5–8% bonus

Schedule:

Full-time, hybrid

• Newly created role with visibility: This position was created with a strong focus on improving forecast accuracy, analytics, and reporting.
• Career progression: Clear growth path into Senior FP&A, FP&A Manager.
• Analytics-forward environment: Start with core reporting and quickly expand into deeper financial analysis and decision support.

• Reporting & Forecasting Support: Maintain and enhance monthly reporting packages and support forecasting activities across the business.
• Data Ownership & Analytics: Take ownership of data pulls, validation, and analysis; scrub large datasets to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Business Partnering: Act as a liaison between Controllers and FP&A, supporting EBITDA forecasting and key business drivers such as raw materials and cost inputs.
• Operational Analysis: Analyze inventory trends, cost drivers, pricing, customer profitability, and margin performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting accuracy, and analytical workflows as the function continues to mature.

• Early-Career FP&A Professional: Bachelor’s degree required with 2–4 years of experience.
• Manufacturing Experience
  
  Required:
  
  Comfortable working with cost structures, inventory, and operational data.
• Strong Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Advanced Excel required (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, large datasets);
  Power BI a plus.
• Systems Exposure: Experience with large ERP systems and consolidation experience a strong plus.
• Curious & Communicative: Analytical, inquisitive, and confident engaging stakeholders across finance and operations.
