Overview
The position provides focused financial leadership and guidance for Consumer & Small Business Deposits, overseeing a team responsible for supporting product management, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives. It ensures accurate financial reporting and forecasting, supports tactical execution, evaluates investment returns, and aligns financials with operational goals. The role requires deep financial expertise and broad influence across the deposit line of business due to the complexity and scale of the function.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Provide targeted financial leadership for a specialized sub-segment.
- Lead financial reporting and tactical execution aligned with operational goals.
- Influence financial decisions across functions due to portfolio complexity.
- Support strategic initiatives, investment cases, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team, providing coaching, development, and performance oversight.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
- Ten years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis.
- Experience and business vision to provide leadership to support the division manager and Executive leadership.
- Understanding of business and organizational strategies with ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interpret and communicate financial analysis to business partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work well in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with GAAP and GAAP related to supported LOBs; high proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modeling experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience
- CPA, CMA, or CFA
- Master's degree or MBA
- Specific financial services or specialized industry experience
- Proficient in Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or other enterprise accounting software
- Experience with macros/VBA
