Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

The Controller will serve as the senior finance leader, responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations for the manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership and executive management to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and actionable financial insight to drive operational performance.

This is a highly visible role suited for a hands‑on finance leader with deep manufacturing and cost accounting experience.

• Lead all accounting operations including month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and present financial results to executive and operational leadership
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, cash flow, and working capital management

• Own standard costing, cost rollups, and variance analysis (labor, material, overhead)
• Partner with operations to analyze margins, production efficiency, and cost drivers
• Oversee inventory accounting including physical inventories, cycle counts, and reserves
• Support pricing, margin analysis, and capital investment decisions

• Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
• Manage external audits, tax compliance support, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure SOX or internal control compliance where applicable
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team
• Drive accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the department
• Build scalable processes to support growth

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
• Analyze performance vs. budget and provide insights to leadership
• Support strategic initiatives, growth projects, and operational improvements

• Oversee ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, JD Edwards, or similar)
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting
• Partner with IT and operations on system enhancements and integrations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing
• Strong cost accounting and plant finance experience
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing financial operations
• ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills

• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
• Experience partnering closely with operations and executive leadership
