We are partnering with a leading, nationally respected law firm to hire a Structured Finance/Securitization Associate for their Financial Services team in Charlotte, NC. This firm is known for its strong reputation in structured finance and complex transactional matters, offering an environment that supports high-level legal practice while encouraging professional growth.
Position OverviewThis associate will support a diverse client base, ranging from issuers and underwriters to borrowers and lenders, on matters related to structured finance, including warehouse lending and term financing transactions. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a sophisticated legal environment and is eager to contribute to complex deals that shape the financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on all aspects of structured finance transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and documenting deals.
- Represent clients in both warehouse lending and term financing matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations while offering strategic legal guidance.
- Collaborate with partners and other legal professionals on multi-faceted financial transactions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from a Top 30 U.S. law school
. - Minimum 3-4 years of relevant transactional experience
, ideally in structured finance or securitization. - Previous experience at a Top 200 AM Law firm is required.
- Licensed to practice law or eligible for admission in North Carolina.
- Strong academic record (GPA of 3.0 or higher; no bottom 50% of graduating class).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hybrid work schedule (typically 3 days in-office
