Controller - Banking, Accounting Finance - Analysts

Controller (Contract – 6 Month)

Duration: 6‑month contract with possibility for extension and/or conversion

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and financial regulations
• Develop, document, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Support process improvements and financial system enhancements

• Quick Books expertise – primary internal accounting tools used
• Accounts payable experience, running payroll, invoicing experience
• Strong experience with collections, receipts, and invoice categorization
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience in a professional service or staffing environment preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Pay Range
: $75 – $80 per hour (based on education, experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.)
