Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

• Create and maintain reporting tools required to assess liquidity position including dashboards, cash flow, and KRI monitoring.
• Support initiatives to comply with large financial institution regulatory requirements and reporting such as LCR, NSFR, 2052a.
• Support liquidity risk stress testing through monthly execution, development of scenarios, data analysis, and testing.
• Examine internal and external data to support all liquidity risk management functions including peer benchmarking analysis.
• Execute economic, industry, and regulatory research.
• Evaluate proposed regulations and provide impact analysis.
• Collaborate with risk management, internal audit, and model validation to ensure processes and procedures are appropriate, executed, and follow company and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist other teams in the Corporate Treasury department on asset/liability management, loan and deposit pricing, capital planning activities, and other ad-hoc assignments as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree and/or certification such as CFA or CPA preferred.
• Experience in the banking industry (Finance, Risk, Audit, Business Intelligence, or Product team) highly preferred.
• Ability to generate high quality work product with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
• Ability to identify process gaps and weaknesses.
• Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities noted above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
• Experience with Power BI, Visio, and VBA beneficial.
• Experience with database reporting and programming tools such as SQL, R, Python, etc. beneficial.
