🚀 Your Role at a Glance:
The key ways you'll bring value to the team
  • Lead and build a high-performing Enterprise team based in Dublin, fostering a culture of excellence and driving strategic growth. This includes hiring, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve their full potential.

  • Develop and execute the Enterprise strategy to acquire and manage large-scale customers, leveraging your deep understanding of credit, risk, and financial analysis.

  • Oversee the underwriting and structuring of complex financing solutions for enterprise customers, diligently managing credit risk to ensure alignment with Wayflyer's risk appetite, business objectives, and while maintaining default rates within the budgeted percentage.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers lenders, and internal teams, to drive business growth and ensure seamless execution.

  • Provide strategic reporting and risk analysis based on outstanding exposure for key accounts to senior leadership and lenders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

  • Drive continuous improvement in credit policies, processes, and underwriting models, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.

  • Lead cross-functional alignment on Enterprise processes and risk appetite by proactively engaging with Capital Markets and Portfolio Management.

  • Act as a key contributor to product and operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance Wayflyer's offerings for enterprise customers.

  • Partner with the Collections department to proactively manage material accounts, ensuring appropriate strategies are implemented to maximise recovery and minimise losses.

🔨 What Makes You a Great Fit:
Essential:
  • +10 years of relevant experience in credit, lending, or financial analysis, preferably within a fintech, financial services, or venture capital environment.

  • Extensive experience in underwriting and structuring complex financial transactions, including venture debt, equipment financing, and warehouse lending.

  • Deep experience in structuring complex lending products (e.g. ABL, MCA, PO financing, long‑term loans).

  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on talent development and performance management.

  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, risk assessment, and credit analysis, with the ability to interpret and synthesise complex financial data.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust with clients and stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Strategic thinker with a results‑oriented mindset, capable of driving business growth and achieving ambitious targets.
