The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports. They will also assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis.
- Develop financial strategies to increase profitability and return on investment.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and regulations (SEC).
- Oversee and review accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance.
- Manage cash flow and ensure efficient financial operations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Manage risk and insurance.
- Lead and manage a finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other departments and executives to achieve financial goals.
- Advise on strategic financial decisions, including investments and fundraising.
- Assess potential financial risks and gains for business initiatives.
- Provide financial expertise to senior management and the board of directors.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience:Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field.
Certifications:CPA or other relevant financial certifications are a plus.
Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Excel).
- Leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
