A North Carolina-based private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Senior Associate/VP to join its dynamic team. The firm specializes in lower‑mid market investments across a diverse range of industries. As the Senior Associate / Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in its investment strategy and execution. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, participating in the full spectrum of the private equity investment cycle.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a lean, highly acquisitive team and shape the future of the firm while contributing to the success of its portfolio companies.
- Execution of broader market and industry research
- Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for various investment targets
- Take point on due diligence processes
- Monitor existing investment portfolio
- Assisting the team with operating/portfolio company work
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Strong financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage transactions from inception to closing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
