About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to support complex, large-scale initiatives within our Specialty Engineering organization. In this contingent resource role, you will work on high-impact technical challenges, provide expert guidance across teams, and contribute to strategic engineering decisions that shape long-term solutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical consultation on initiatives with broad scope, high complexity, and significant business impact.
• Analyze and break down multifaceted engineering challenges, including those with ambiguous, intangible, or unprecedented elements.
• Lead and contribute to the development of scalable, compliant, and well-governed engineering solutions-leveraging deep knowledge of domain policies, processes, and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to align on strategy, clarify requirements, and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Apply systems thinking and hands-on engineering expertise to drive clarity, reduce complexity, and enhance solution design.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of professional roles, consulting, education, training, or military experience.
• Proven ability to operate as a self-starter with strong ownership and initiative.
• Strength in systems thinking and solving complex, multi-layered engineering problems.
• Hands-on proficiency in Java, Python, and at least one additional programming language (e.g., C#, Java Script , Go).
• Experience with cloud-native development.
• Experience implementing GenAI-enabled solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in regulated industries.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts or domain best practices.
