Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 annually - DOE

We are seeking a creative and motivated Project Engineer to join our client’s Winston‑Salem office with a focus on Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) prototype projects. As a Project Engineer, you will work under the supervision of a Project Manager and in collaboration with civil designers. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer who will serve as the Engineer of Record, responsible for signing and sealing construction documents.

• Design and oversight of QSR projects including site layout, grading, erosion control, storm drainage, stormwater management, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Serve as Engineer of Record, signing and sealing construction documents.
• Coordinate with civil design teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Attend and participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and deliverables.
• Manage site permitting processes with local and state agencies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

• Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in site engineering, including at least 4 years as Engineer of Record.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• PE (Professional Engineer) License required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong familiarity with Hydrology Studio, Newforma, and EPANet 2.2 is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
