Snapshot of Your Day

As a Fleet Planning Manager in the Global Planning team, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our global fleet of the most advanced generators. You will work collaboratively with teammates around the globe supporting both our new part business and our service facilities in Charlotte, Mülheim, Fort Payne, and others. You will collaborate with a wide range of interdisciplinary teams – including Sales, Project and Product Management, Engineering, and Purchasing – and play a key role in making decisions related to load planning and inventory management.

You’ll Make An Impact
  • Lead demand and inventory planning for new major components with focus on the North and Latin America region.
  • Coordinate mid‑and‑long‑term planning and slot allocation with internal factories to ensure timely availability.
  • Drive the optimization of forecast accuracy and robust risk and safety stock planning, including the yearly inventory budget process.
  • Improve inventory management and ensure delivery capability and reliability for all major parts of the managed fleet.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal partners, e.g., Sales, Project and Product Management, factories and engineering on technical or commercial matters of major parts.
  • Identify and implement best practices in operations, tools and processes and foster process harmonization across functions for global use.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field required with 3+ years of power generation experience.
  • Product knowledge of generator technology and manufacturing processes.
  • Expertise in planning methodologies and project management.
  • Basic knowledge of business administration and experience with IT applications such as MS Office, SAP, PCM, etc.
  • An effective team member with excellent interpersonal skills, strong logical and analytical thinking, and a confident, assertive approach.
  • Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
