Actively seeking entry level designer/engineer technician to support designs for power electrical distribution projects. Will be working in the Engineering department working on utility scale projects designing and reviewing overhead and underground lines from 4kV to 69kV.
AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- Coordinate with permit agencies, right-of-way specialists, system owners, field leaders, forestry leaders, and 3rd party owners for joint-owned poles.
- Review work provided by Client and assess requirements of scopes.
- Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met.
- Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design.
- Travel to sites as needed, perform inspections, and return to the office to perform engineering design work, and collect field data that will assist in the development of electrical design work packages.
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Environmental science, Engineering Technology, or Drafting/Design.
- 0-1 years of experience.
- Skill set in AutoCAD.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
